Some of Dutchess BOCES' Work-Based Learning students proudly represented the organization during the fall BOCES Expo on Monday in Albany. Quadir Wheeler-Kairee, Yarami Sartillo Gutierrez, and Johan Melchor Vasquez shared about their work-based learning experiences with many people, including officials from the New York State Department of Education.
Dutchess BOCES’ Educational Resources (ER) team, along with the Arlington, Beacon, Rhinebeck and Wappingers school districts will host an inaugural Regional Professional Learning Day on November 4 featuring over 70 professional learning opportunities across five sites.
The halls of the Resilience Academy were a sea of orange for its celebration of Unity Day, part of National Bullying Prevention Month where students and staff wear orange to promote kindness, acceptance and inclusion. While this event was recognized nationally on Wednesday, Oct.
Students in Resilience Academy’s Pegasus program traveled to Meadowbrook Farm in Wappingers Falls Oct. 10 to practice some of the things they are learning about in class and have some educational fun.
