Dutchess BOCES' Mid-Hudson Regional Partnership Center is one of 12 state-funded centers throughout New York. In 2024, the center received a five-year grant to continue its work which is centered on improving outcomes for students with disabilities. Dutchess BOCES has served as the organization's home for more than 20 years.
The center has nine specialists that serve Dutchess, Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties. This region has about 20,000 special education students with individualized education plans (IEPs). The state identifies districts the RPC wil work with and the administration and schools identified receive support at no cost.
In addition, the RPC staff offer a variety of professional development courses at no cost for administrators and educators in the region.
