Awards ceremony recognizes Resilience Academy students, staff

Christopher Ellis earned Resilience in Science and Art awards.Students and staff at Dutchess BOCES’ Resilience Academy received certificates and praise for their efforts this school year during the school’s Fourth Quarter Award Ceremony on June 13. Fifty-nine students received awards in 27 award categories, while six staff members received awards in five categories.


Early student dismissal June 23-25

SunlightDue to the anticipated high heat index, Dutchess BOCES will dismiss all students at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 23; Tuesday, June 24, and Wednesday, June 25. This decision was made to ensure the safety and comfort of our students.


Breakfast honors county's distinguished graduates

Dutchess BOCES administrators and Resilience Academy distinguished graduatesRepresentatives of 13 Dutchess County school districts gathered at Villa Borghese in Wappingers Falls to honor each district’s distinguished graduates at the Dutchess BOCES Distinguished Graduate Recognition Breakfast this month. Each high school recognized two students.


Recognition Ceremony honors Class of 2025

Danielle RoccoMorgan Leonard enjoyed her educational experience at Dutchess BOCES’ Career and Technical Institute and is ready for what’s next. The early childhood education student was one of 321 students recognized for completing their programs at CTI’s Recognition Ceremony at the Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center in Poughkeepsie June 12.


Eighth graders move up in emotional ceremony

“I’ve got this…I’ve got this!” said Jacob Lloyd as a teacher readied him to enter the Salt Point Center gymnasium for the 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony and walk down the aisle to "Pomp and Circumstance."
