Sitting down with the two service dogs attending their first field day, Peaches (3) and Benny (2), student Quadir Wheeler squealed in delight at the attention he was receiving from both dogs.
“They’re so nice and so soft!” Wheeler exclaimed. “They’re happy to be at field day with me!”

FFA held its 8th annual banquet on May 20, 2025. The National FFA Organization is a nationwide youth organization that cultivates the growth of emerging leaders in the agricultural field. The group focuses on hands-on learning and experiences that prepare students for success in their professional careers.
The Mid-Hudson School Study Council honored CTI teacher Richard Petschko with a Teaching Excellence Award at its annual meeting and awards ceremony in May.
Second and third-grade students at Salt Point Center (SPC) had a blast on May 13, during a visit to the Trevor Zoo in Millbrook and learned plenty about the animals that reside there. The trip was made possible by a grant from Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley.
