Dutchess BOCES is welcoming Officer Seth Thomas as a new school resource officer for the 2022-2023 school year.  Thomas hopes to serve as a role model for students, while keeping the campus safe.

The first day of school, for our Alternative High School students ONLY, is changed to Thursday, September 8, 2022. All BOCES Staff will return on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 as previously scheduled.


New BOCES employees are welcomed

Dutchess BOCES’ Office of Human Resources welcomed approximately 65 new employees during an in-person orientation on August 25, which is held every year during Administration Week so new and current staff can meet.


IT Division growing to support BOCES & districts

While construction crews are working on completing the structure for Dutchess BOCES new campus, BOCES’ IT department is hard at work inside the building so that once construction crews finish they’ll be able to install phones, computers, and wireless access points in the classrooms and offices.


CTI Chickens get tender, loving care

As the old saying goes, many hands make light work and that is proving to be true when it comes to taking care of 11 chickens residing in coops at Dutchess BOCES’ Career and Technical Institute.

 

 


Year-end work keeps Business Office booming

While many Dutchess BOCES students are off for the summer, the Business and Payroll offices have kept busy switching to a new payroll schedule and getting everything prepared for the upcoming school year.
