Dutchess BOCES Resilience Academy Mission Statement
The Dutchess BOCES Special Education and Alternative Division believes that all students are capable of learning. While recognizing students placed in our charge have not always experienced success in school prior to attending BOCES, it is our firm conviction that we will foster success for each child.
Our mission is to provide students with the building blocks necessary to become resilient learners. We believe that it is our responsibility to ignite a passion for lifelong learning, promote student self-advocacy and encourage academic excellence while maintaining a positive, supportive, trauma-informed environment where all students can reach their academic and social-emotional goals.
