Trade Electricity I & II
Course overview: This program provides students entry level skills in construction electricity. Courses emphasize job safety, electrical theory, electrical calculations, work ethic, proper tool use and exposure to professional opportunities within the trade. First year focus is on residential installations, followed by second year directed at commercial and industrial installations and include electrical theory, safety/OSHA job-site regulations, commercial/industrial wiring methods, circuit loading calculations, hand & power tool usage, service entrance installation/calculations, and introduction to electric motors/controllers.
Academics: Career literacy, math and science are integrated into Trade Electricity I and II.
