On April 24th, thirty-five CTI SkillsUSA students set off to Syracuse for the SkillsUSA State Competitions. Some students participated in their trade and professional competitions, others were part of the voting delegation for new officers, and still others were part of the security core.
The students represented Dutchess BOCES, their home schools, and their communities with great pride. Competition winners have the opportunity to represent New York State during the National Competition in Kentucky this June. Congratulations to all of our competitors, especially Josh Rivera from Beacon High School, who placed second in the Carpenter Assistant Competition.
