Clubs and Activities
Students can participate in a variety of after school clubs: SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), Anime Club and Yearbook have been popular choices. Additionally, students are offered the opportunity to become involved in after school activities such as Rachel’s Challenge ( a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safe, connected school environments), school plays and sporting events that occur throughout the school year.
Many clubs and activities offered to our students occur during the school day. Since our students come from all over the county, transportation home from after school clubs can sometimes be difficult. “In school clubs” also allow for our staff to offer supervision and guidance at a level that may be more beneficial to our student’s learning. Some of the high school clubs students have participated in include: Yearbook, Buddies, Cupcake, Inc., Breakfast Café and the Interact Club.
