Hyde Park CSD Superintendent Dr. Greer Rychcik, and CTI graphic design student Angelica Petersen
Dutchess BOCES CTI graphic design student Angelica Petersen, a senior at FDR High School, is gaining real world experience less than a week into the new school year as she begins work on a project for her own school district.
Teachers from various subject areas participated in this all day hands-on event which featured guest speakers from IBM, Code.org, and Pine Plains Central School District. Subjects included learning about our STEM types, coding and building with Raspberry Pi, an introduction to a variety of coding platforms for students and a sampling of 3D printing.
