The Dutchess BOCES Board of Trustees is returning to virtual Board meetings due to the continuing impact of the COVID pandemic. The next meeting will be at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13. In-person attendance will not be permitted.
The meeting will be available through video conferencing at: https://media.dcboces.org/Watch/Tn7k4ANg. The agenda will be posted here (https://go.boarddocs.com/ny/dcboces/Board.nsf/Public) on Friday, October 8. Last month, Governor Kathy Hochul signed legislation again permitting virtual access to public meetings under New York State's Open Meetings Law. The legislation, initially implemented by Executive Order during last year's State of Emergency, ended June 25. It allows state and local government meetings that are normally held in person to be held remotely, as long as the public has the ability to view or listen to the meeting and as long as the meeting is recorded and later transcribed.
