Recently, students from the Dutchess BOCES Career and Technology Institute (CTI) visited SUNY Purchase to explore the college’s academic offerings and campus.
Mr. Lawson’s Graphic Design II class attended an upper-level design class to see first-hand how CTI courses related to college-level work. They also toured the Visual Arts Building to view examples of the Purchase students work. Mr. Brown’s Film II class was given an in-depth tour of classes and editing suites used in Film Department.
Mr. Lawson, an alumnus of Purchase, provided a campus tour and described the architecture and architects that designed the buildings. The students also visited the Neuberger Museum of Art and enjoyed the exhibitions, including one featuring work by 20th and 21st Century Latin America artists.
