Employee Health Benefits Information

Dutchess BOCES offers a variety of choices in health and dental benefits to its employees as well as access to 403B and 457 plans, and AFLAC plans including flexible spending, and disability insurance.

Health – BOCES currently offers 3 health plan options to its employees:

Employee contributions towards premiums are based on your union contract and your salary, if you have questions about your contributions please contact the Benefits Department .

Dental – BOCES currently has a self-funded dental plan for all employees who are 1.0 FTE with the exception of Support Staff Association (SSA) members. More information about your dental coverage can be found HERE in your employee handbook, and in-network providers can be found at the Fitzharris website. You have the option of selecting from both the PPO -> Fitzharris & Company Self-Funded Dental Plans -> Fitzharris & Company Provider Network or the Aetna Dental R Administrator Network.

AFLAC – BOCES provides opportunities for its employees to enroll in a variety of AFLAC plans based on their needs. Open Enrollment is typically in November.  More information about AFLAC can be found HERE. Please contact the Human Resources Department for more information.
