District Superintendent
BOCES services are the backbone of our relationship with our component districts. These services have greatly benefited from the shared viewpoints of all our colleagues in Dutchess County. Together we work hard to maximize educational resources to support student success as defined by New York's Learning Standards.
At Dutchess BOCES , students are at the center of all of our decisions and actions. We focus upon what each student needs to be successful and work to help all students reach their full potential. District Superintendent Services
In addition to serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Dutchess BOCES, the District Superintendent serves as the Commissioner's representative to the component districts, as well as the liaison between local districts and the State Education Department. The District Superintendent is able to call upon the resources of the State Education Department, colleges and universities, as well as professional staff of the BOCES to provide consulting services.

Deputy Superintendent
Deputy Superintendent Dr. Jodi DeLucia is a student-centered instructional leader with more than 20 years of experience. She has a proven record of accomplishment in K-12 curriculum planning, strategic planning, comprehensive professional development, and responsible fiscal management. She is dedicated to a team-based approach and focuses on promoting sound instructional and pedagogical practice.
DeLucia has a doctorate in educational leadership, bringing a strong academic foundation to her role.
DeLucia oversees all internal operations, leads academic matters, and is responsible for the effective implementation of all board goals. Additionally, she provides direct supervision for all instructional and program administrators, collaborating with the Dutchess BOCES Cabinet to ensure effective educational outcomes.
